Reuniting Emotion and Engineering: The K3 Reunion Stage Story

Overview
When Belgium’s beloved pop trio K3 reunited in 2025, it was more than a concert. It was a homecoming, a celebration of memory, music and the shared light of generations.
Produced by Studio 100 and realized in collaboration with PIXELSCREEN.eu, the K3 Originals Reunion Tour became one of Europe’s most memorable live productions, drawing over 750,000 fans across Belgium and the Netherlands.
Supporting its visual design was INFiLED’s DBmk2 2.6 Series with 5G technology, providing the adaptable LED foundation that helped transform the stage into an immersive world of color and motion.
For audiences who had grown up with K3’s songs, it was a return to joy, reborn through technology that was brighter, sharper and larger than ever.
The Stage Design A Stage of Memory and Light
The show radiated nostalgia while embracing innovation.
Two fully enclosed 3D LED sculptures, shaped as a K and a 3, anchored the stage and were surrounded by overhead cube screens, panoramic background walls, and an LED floor that extended the scene into one continuous visual space.
Curved side panels built from custom 25 × 50 cm modules connected the structures, creating a flowing rhythm of light and movement that reached every corner of Antwerp’s AFAS Dome, formerly the Sportpaleis.
This unified LED environment wrapped the performers in light and motion. Each visual transition supported the music’s emotional narrative, turning every song into a distinct atmosphere – alive, responsive and warm, just like the connection K3 has always shared with its fans.

The ChallengeFrom Concept to Reality
Bringing such a design to life required more than technology; it demanded close collaboration from planning through rehearsals. PIXELSCREEN.eu and INFiLED worked together to ensure every visual element aligned with the creative vision, maintaining consistency across all LED displays.
The stage design covered more than 1,000㎡of LED displays, including two fully enclosed 7-meter-tall sculptures. Aligning curved and flat geometries across these large and three-dimensional structures required absolute precision and teamwork. Every cabinet had to fit within millimeters to maintain seamless visuals across mixed surfaces and shapes.
At one of the show’s most striking moments, the performers stood atop the illuminated “3,” surrounded by visuals pulsing in sync with the rhythm – a perfect meeting of artistry and precision. The challenges of achieving structural accuracy, visual uniformity and touring-level reliability were met through shared expertise and careful coordination long before the first note played.

The SolutionTurning Vision into Structure
The visual concept was supported by a unified LED system built with INFiLED’s DBmk2 2.6 Series, designed to adapt to the demanding pace of touring-scale productions. This platform provided the structural and visual foundation that connected every screen element.
- Structural Adaptability: Modular cabinets allowed flat and curved configurations, supporting creative shapes without compromising alignment.
- Enhanced durability: A dual-protection system of retractable bumpers and a buffer-dumper mechanism safeguards edges and surfaces during transport and repeated setup, ensuring long-term stability.
- Visual Consistency: CBSF technology maintained color and brightness uniformity across viewing angles and geometries.
- Enduring Protection: ArmorLED and SolidSkin technologies maintained surface strength and stable performance under the demanding conditions.
- Rigging Reliability: Secure stacking and hanging systems delivered the strength and safety needed for large-scale touring productions.
Together, these features created a cohesive LED platform that balanced creative freedom with dependable performance.

The ResultWhen the Stage Comes to Life
When the first chords filled the arena, the entire LED system responded with light and rhythm. It did not simply illuminate the performers; it became part of them. Children sang, parents smiled and generations shared the same sense of wonder as the immersive environment surrounded them from every angle.
Across dozens of shows, the same visual system performed with proven consistency, remaining true to its design. As the PIXELSCREEN.eu team remarked: “Reliability is everything. The equipment has to perform flawlessly, show after show.”
A Story That Keeps Going
That reliability is the result of partnership. For sixteen years, PIXELSCREEN.eu and INFiLED have turned creative ambition into technical achievement. From outdoor festivals to immersive tours, their relationship has evolved from supplier and client into a long-term creative alliance built on trust and shared standards.
For INFiLED, the K3 Reunion Tour represented more than technical success. It was a reminder that engineering can carry emotion, and that light can connect generations as deeply as music.
Reflecting on the project, Frank Verstraeten, CEO of PIXELSCREEN.eu, summed it up best:
“Let’s do it again, over and over again.”
