Star Millenium: LED-Powered Live Game Action for French Sports Fans

Overview

Star Millenium, a premium restaurant and sports bar in Le Havre, France, wanted to install massive, high-performance LED screens to turn every match into a larger-than-life viewing experience. They selected INFiLED’s LED display cabinets from the MV Series  for our affordable pricing, lightweight design, and exceptional visuals.

Partnering with MTCA, we installed two gigantic displays measuring 4 meters and 6 meters wide.

The Brief: Immersive Sports Viewing That Wows

Star Millenium set out to create a game-day experience that would wow guests from the moment they walked in. They wanted ultramodern LED panels that would:

• Deliver crisp, high-quality visuals even for the most fast-moving gameplay.
• Work well with all day and night ambient light conditions
• Complement the venue’s existing high-tech gaming zone

Star Millenium wanted to give fans a front-row experience—vivid, real-time action with sharp detail and zero lag.

The Challenge: Delivering High Clarity Within Budget

Star Millenium chose two sizable setups — 6m x 3.5m and 4m x 2.5m, and they wanted exceptional image quality without overshooting budget. However, costs can add up quickly if you want visual clarity at scale.

• LED panels typically range in size from 1X0.5m to 0.5mX0.5m. A large screen requires multiple LED panels to integrate and present a unified image across panels.
• In sports, high-speed action must be rendered in real-time without visible tearing, distortion, or blur.
• High pixel density is necessary to increase image quality and create that feeling of being on the ground, with your favorite team.

The key challenge lay in striking the right balance between price and performance.

The Solution: INFiLED’s MV Series Indoor LED Display

To meet Star Millennium’s expectations, MTCA implemented a comprehensive solution using INFiLED’s MV Series LED displays. The installation includes 5 LED screens, carefully designed to elevate the space:

• Main stage: A large-scale screen measuring 6m x 3.5m with a total resolution of 2016 x 1176.
• Suspended LED cubes: A visually striking centerpiece featuring four-sided customized LED cubes, each measuring 4m x 2.5m with a resolution of 1344 x 840 per face.

The MV Series was chosen for its ideal balance of value, performance, and immersive image quality, making it a perfect fit for this dynamic environment.

Lightweight design

MV Series panels are only 86mm deep with an edge depth almost 1 cm thinner than traditional metal sheet cabinets. More importantly, they are nearly 45kg per sqm lighter than conventional metal sheet cabinets.

Their thin, lightweight build made installation simpler. The large, multi-panel displays were assembled faster than anticipated without compromising performance or safety. The slim design was also ideal for Star Millenium’s space and aesthetics requirements.

Durable structure

Despite their slim profile, the MV panels are built with a durable aluminum frame that can handle the challenges of public venues.

The displays are made to last in crowded spaces and perform reliably despite fluctuating indoor temperatures and the occasional impact.

 Vivid picture quality

High brightness and contrast ensure that fans enjoy every moment, even under bright venue lighting. The visuals stay clear and colorful for both sunny afternoons and midnight matches.

The very high refresh rate means fast-paced sports fluidly play out on the screen in real-time.

Wide viewing angles

With a wide 160° horizontal and vertical viewing angle, the MV Series ensures a great view from virtually anywhere in the bar. It is perfect for the dynamic, social atmosphere of live game nights.

 Easy maintenance

MV panels offer front and rear maintenance access for efficient servicing. They have interchangeable LED modules and easily removable power and data units. Any repairs or upgrades can be completed swiftly—essential to avoid disrupting critical games due to maintenance issues.

 Smart remote monitoring

The INFiLED MV Series has a built-in Display Monitoring System (DMS), allowing operators to check screen performance remotely.

To prevent mid-game interruptions, they can log into the system and remotely check live screen conditions like temperature, power supply, etc.

A built-in light sensor automatically adjusts screen brightness based on ambient lighting. This helps conserve energy while ensuring optimal visibility.
