INFiLED and VIDEOSONIC Brought Broadcast-Quality LED to Caudalie’s Retreat

Set in the heart of Paris’ historic Le Marais, Caudalie’s new flagship HQ is more than just an urban sanctuary. It’s a premier space for employees, wellness clients and collaborative projects alike. Its light and airy auditorium is a hybrid haven, designed for product launches, internal meetings or hiring to external (and classy) companies.
Based on the recommendations from AV consultant Acte 1, who worked with Caudalie on the technical specifications of the project, VIDEOSONIC selected INFiLED’s studio-grade IRDB1.56MT2mk2 CBSF LED screens from the STUDIO Series, powered by Brompton processing.
Originally designed for professional production studios, this model delivered the superb-quality LED visuals needed to uphold Caudalie’s premium brand reputation.

The Vision: LED Technology with Elegance
Caudalie’s new HQ was more than just an office move. The founders envisaged the company’s new home as reflective of its brand promise: a place for relaxation, creation and transformation. More a holistic destination than corporate premises, it was a space built for employees, customers and partners alike. Boutique, yoga studio, and employees’ areas coexist in a muted cream-and-blonde-wood décor defined by arches, organic lines, and a sense of peaceful luxury.
Central to the activities of the HQ was the auditorium, a hybrid area built for flexibility. Anything could happen here: a product launch, team training, event hosting.
Caudalie was looking for the highest screen quality for this flagship space. The auditorium’s tech had to deliver flawless visuals without compromising the aesthetic of the room. Something stunningly immersive when in use, but unobtrusive when idle. And this meant rolling out the poshest of pixels.
The Challenge: Not Business as Usual
Caudalie’s auditorium was very different to a typical corporate meeting room, and VIDEOSONIC needed to design the LED installation with this in mind. Caudalie set them some serious standards, which we were happy to support:
- Image quality excellence: This was non-negotiable, as Caudalie’s identity relies on perfect visuals; in design, packaging, the whole works.
- Skin tone reproduction: Skin tones have lots of graduations of undertones, and are notoriously difficult to display faithfully via LED. Being a skincare company, Caudalie expected flawless tone reproduction.
- Screen integration: The build was beautiful, and the auditorium located inside a very distinctive and historic space. The screen had to blend well with the environment, rather than stick out like a glitter bomb in a library.
- Versatility: The space was built for a range of uses and users. The LED screen would need to adapt effortlessly.

The Solution: Broadcast-Grade LED
What ticked the right box for VIDEOSONIC’s stringent objectives was INFiLED’s IRDB1.56MT2mk2 CBSF LED screen, one of the models from our STUDIO Series. We originally designed the STUDIO Series specifically for the super-demanding standards of virtual production and high-end broadcast environments, so the choice for Caudalie was deliberate.
VIDEOSONIC built a large-format screen (8m x 2.5m) with a very high pixel density (5120 x 1600) and a pixel pitch of 1.56mm for super sharp images at close viewing. This cinematic canvas would give Caudalie’s content an immersive and prestigious feel, rather than the standard corporate flavor. It delivered:
- Color accuracy:
INFiLED’s bespoke CBSF technology keeps colors uniform and accurate across wide viewing angles, getting rid of tone shifts and brightness inconsistencies. This is especially important for Caudalie’s skincare imagery, which relies on accurate portrayal of natural skin tones.
- Cinematic quality:
The LED screen’s 1400 nits of brightness and high contrast ratio produces deep blacks and pure whites, promoting depth and immersive visuals. - Flicker-free images:
A high refresh rate of 7.680Hz keeps images smooth and flowing – no scan lines, banding and flickering here! This doesn’t just keep the visuals comfy to watch, it also expands the type of content that Caudalie can use, such as recording content or live streaming, with professional results.
The installation’s video signal was powered by Brompton processing, widely used in the broadcast industry for its ability to show images exactly as they’re intended to be seen, and for robust signal reliability.
For Caudalie, INFiLED’s IRDB1.56MT2mk2 CBSF was partnered with:
- 2 Brompton SX40 processors
- 2 Brompton Tessera XD distribution units
The INFiLED team worked closely with VIDEOSONIC within a tight schedule, and we’re proud that the project moved from decision to final installation in just one month.
