Custom 12-foot cylindrical SF 1.9 mm LED display taking center stage in Tapper’s Flagship Store

Overview

Tapper’s Jewelry Store, one of Michigan’s most trusted jewelers since 1977, made the decision to remodel their flagship location last year. To standout among other retail stores, they looked into adding a new visual experience to their renovated space.

The challenge, to complete this install before the annual holiday shopping rush. 4Wall Entertainment was tasked to make this a reality, and after reaching out to various LED providers, INFiLED inched forward as the one to beat them all by being the most responsive, reliable solution, and committed to meeting the holiday deadline.

Holiday Deadline Challenge

This installation was crafted from the ground up, focusing on close viewing distances and smooth playback performance.

One challenge of this install was due to the cylinder shape of the screen, the mounting frame needed to be precise. Initially it was to be sourced from a local company but there were challenges with tolerances and shifting, so INFiLED stepped in to not only provide the screen solution, but also provide a custom 12’ cylinder frame to mount it’s SF1.9mm LED display from our SF Series.

Collaboration with 4Wall and JGA

Flexible SF Series

INFiLED’s SF Series offers high flexibility, allowing the creation of both convex and concave curved displays with ease. The SF LED panels are exceptionally lightweight and effortlessly assembled. The advanced magnetic system ensures convenient front accessibility and maintenance.

The SF 1.9 display works seamlessly with NovaStar’s VX1000 processing, and playback by BrightSign XT5 xt2145 within this install. With the current setup, Tapper’s is able to update all their own visual advertisements and content for the display with ease.

4Wall recently reached out to the client, and Tapper’s reported back that the LED display has been running smoothly with no issues and failures since it was installed last November.

Product performance was of the utmost importance as this installation is running 24/7 with numerous visitors a day at this location. This project reflects both INFiLED’s and 4Wall’s dedication to providing the best AV solutions for all its customers.
