Ventum Tech and INFiLED Deliver a Landmark DOOH Network in the Heart of Doha

Overview
In a city defined by movement, visibility is everything.
Located in the heart of Doha’s West Bay district, one of the region’s busiest commercial and hospitality hubs, Ventum Tech set out to create a digital out-of-home (DOOH) platform capable of cutting through an increasingly saturated urban landscape.
The objective extended far beyond deploying large-format LED displays. The vision was to establish a premium digital advertising network that combines architectural integration, operational reliability, and high-impact visual performance to deliver long-term commercial value for advertisers and media operators alike.
To bring this vision to life, Ventum Tech partnered with INFiLED to develop a network of large-scale outdoor LED displays engineered specifically for Doha’s demanding environmental conditions, including extreme sunlight exposure, high ambient temperatures, and continuous operational requirements.
The result is a landmark DOOH installation spanning approximately 1,219 sqm across key locations surrounding Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, powered by INFiLED’s MVmk2 Series technology. More than a collection of LED billboards, the project establishes a connected digital media ecosystem designed to redefine how brands engage audiences within one of the Middle East’s most valuable advertising corridors.
Strategic Partnership
The project reflects the strength of a highly aligned partnership between two companies combining regional market expertise with global LED engineering capabilities.
At the center of the deployment was Ventum Tech, a Qatar-based technology systems integrator specializing in audio-visual systems, digital signage, DOOH infrastructure, and immersive technology solutions. Operating across sectors including media, entertainment, retail, education, oil & gas, hospitality, and public infrastructure, Ventum Tech led the project’s overall design, engineering, integration, deployment, and operational strategy.
Supporting the implementation was INFiLED and its international technical support teams, providing expertise in high-performance outdoor LED technology and DOOH deployment methodologies.
Together, both companies focused on developing a solution that would not only deliver immediate visual impact, but also function as a long-term revenue-generating media asset with operational resilience and scalable advertising capabilities.
Challenges
Modern urban advertising environments demand significantly more than static signage.
In dense metropolitan districts such as West Bay, advertisers compete within highly dynamic visual environments where audience attention spans are limited and surrounding architectural elements continuously challenge visibility and engagement.
To successfully execute the project, the deployment team addressed three critical challenges:
- Daylight Visibility
Outdoor LED displays operating in Doha must remain fully visible under direct sunlight and extreme daytime brightness conditions. Without sufficient luminance, contrast, and color consistency, even large-scale displays lose effectiveness during peak daylight hours.
- Operational Flexibility
Modern advertisers require the ability to update campaigns in real time, manage multiple content schedules simultaneously, and adapt messaging instantly based on audience behavior, timing, and commercial requirements.
The platform therefore needed to support seamless content management with minimal operational friction.
- Long-Term Reliability
Unlike conventional static billboards, DOOH infrastructure operates as an active digital revenue platform. Any interruption directly impacts advertisers, operators, and commercial performance.
For Ventum Tech, reliability was not simply a technical requirement, but a core investment consideration tied directly to operational continuity and revenue generation.

The Solution
To meet these requirements, Ventum Tech and INFiLED collaborated closely throughout the project lifecycle, beginning with a detailed consultation and engineering phase focused on aligning technical performance with long-term commercial objectives.
Key considerations during the design and planning stages included:
- Structural integration across multiple installation environments
- Power and signal distribution strategy
- Audience viewing angles and visibility optimization
- Environmental exposure and thermal performance
- Serviceability and long-term maintenance accessibility
- Network-wide operational scalability
Following the engineering assessment, the project team selected INFiLED’s MVmk2 Series as the optimal solution for the deployment.
Designed specifically for demanding outdoor DOOH applications, the MVmk2 platform combines high brightness performance, image clarity, durability, and operational stability within a robust outdoor-rated architecture.
With a 6.9mm pixel pitch and brightness levels reaching 8,000 nits, the displays maintain strong visibility and color consistency throughout the day, ensuring continuous advertising impact even under Doha’s intense sunlight conditions.
Deployment
Ventum Tech strategically deployed the LED assets across prominent locations to maximize exposure and audience reach throughout the district.
The installation includes:
- A large-format LED display measuring approximately 300 sqm at Marriott Marquis
- A landmark curved LED façade spanning approximately 920 sqm integrated into the Marriott Marquis parking ramp structure
The curved façade installation in particular represents a significant architectural integration achievement, transforming the building envelope into a continuous digital media surface rather than a conventional mounted billboard.
Installation, calibration, and commissioning were executed through close coordination between Ventum Tech’s engineering teams and INFiLED’s technical support divisions to ensure consistent brightness, color accuracy, synchronization, and long-term operational performance across all deployed assets.

The Result
The completed network now stands as one of Doha’s most prominent high-impact DOOH deployments, delivering a scalable advertising platform capable of supporting dynamic digital campaigns, real-time scheduling, and multi-brand content management.
For advertisers, the platform enables:
- Real-time content updates
- Flexible campaign scheduling
- Simultaneous multi-campaign operation
- Enhanced audience engagement
- Premium urban visibility
For operators, the deployment provides a robust and scalable infrastructure designed for continuous operation and long-term monetization.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Antoine Saab, Managing Director at Ventum Tech, commented:
“Ventum Tech chose INFiLED as the OEM partner for our DOOH business because we are not simply supplying screens. We are investing our own capital, deploying the infrastructure, operating the assets, and carrying the full maintenance and lifecycle responsibility over many years.
In this model, uptime is directly connected to revenue. Any failure represents not only a technical issue, but a direct commercial impact. Long-term reliability, operational stability, and minimal maintenance intervention therefore become fundamental investment requirements rather than optional technical preferences.”
Shaping the Future of DOOH in Qatar
This deployment demonstrates how strategic engineering, architectural integration, and advanced LED technology can combine to transform urban communication environments.
More than a standalone installation, the project represents a broader shift toward intelligent, scalable, and commercially driven DOOH ecosystems capable of redefining audience engagement within modern cities.
By combining operational expertise with high-performance LED technology, Ventum Tech and INFiLED have delivered a landmark digital media platform that sets a new benchmark for large-scale DOOH deployments in the region.
