In January 2025, the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) made its highly anticipated debut in Thailand, transforming the vibrant cultural landscape into an enchanting realm of music, art, and technology. Recognized as the world’s #2 Best Music Festival, EDC is celebrated for its ability to create dreamlike environments that captivate audiences worldwide.

Collaboration and Innovation: Meeting EDC’s Visionary Goals

This year, EDC pushed visual boundaries with stunning displays powered by INFiLED’s state-of-the-art transparent LED screens. In collaboration with Digital Aid Sdn Bhd (D8 Group), INFiLED seamlessly integrated mesmerizing visuals into EDC’s visionary stage design, including the iconic “EDM Goddess” structure.

Henry Hari Ram, CEO of Digital Aid, and his team worked closely with production designers to meet the festival’s ambitious creative demands. Over 900 square meters of transparent LED screens were installed, requiring precision in both installation and design integration.

Key Features of the INFiLED AMmk2 Screens

The INFiLED AMmk2 screens (with pixel pitch of 8.33mm)were chosen to meet EDC’s high standards, offering:

• 70% Transparency: Allowed dynamic lighting effects to shine through, mesmerizing attendees at every moment.
• Lightweight Design: Each panel weighs only 15.5 kg, making handling and installation more efficient.
• Fast Angle Locks: Enabled quick installations and supported curvature adjustments from -15° to 10°.
• Durability and Safety:
  • Flame retardant (UL94 V0).
  • Waterproof (IP65).
• Easy Maintenance: Modular design allowed for effortless removal and upkeep during high-energy events.

Overcoming Challenges: On-Site and Logistical Solutions

The uneven terrain of the venue and the tight time frame posed significant challenges. However, INFiLED overcome these obstacles through:

• Dedicated Dolly (Touring Cart) System: Simplified transporting LED cabinets to and from the venue.
• Efficient Installation Process: Fast angle locks and lightweight panels streamlined the setup process.
